It's Friday the 13th!

Spooky 👻

Hey Everybody!

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for Fuzzy’s Five for Friday!!

What I'm Watching:

Despite the upheaval of 2020 and the growing unrest in the political sphere, Andrew Callaghan's style of reporting in "This Place Rules" offered an unprecedented exploration into the events leading up to January 6 Capitol Riot. With just a camera and a microphone in hand, he captured the chaos erupting on the streets and provided insight into an expansive spectrum of opinions among US citizens. From COVID restrictions to election cycles, his film brought light to some of the most pivotal moments of last year and gained widespread notoriety for its objective approach to confronting an emotionally charged topic.

New Tool I'm Using:

Achieving a common goal within the design process can be an arduous task, given the need to align internal teams and processes across different disciplines. To get the most out of this alignment, it is essential to maintain open communication between team members by clearly articulating the desired outcomes and actively listening for feedback about how best to reach them. Figma aims to assist in this process with its intuitive platform to help teams get the job done faster and easier. Figma looks well thought out and makes it easy to collaborate.

Campaign I'm Checking Out:

When you're selling a house, it's easy to feel helpless when you take a look at your closing statement and see the immense agent commissions that have been deducted, resulting in frustration and confusion. The average seller is charged over $25,000 in total commissions, so the cost is certainly real. Sellers often wonder why they're spending all this money without feeling like they've done any of the work. To make matters even worse, 65 million Americans selling their homes yearly are collectively paying out over 100 billion dollars annually in agent commissions alone. Homeshake is aiming to change all that by shaking up the real estate sales market with its unconventional system. I'm intrigued, to say the least; take a look.

Song I'm Enjoying:

Junip's song "Don't Let It Pass" is all about seizing the moment and taking chances before life slips by. The slow, mellow vibes of the track make for a soothing listening experience, and its touching lyrics about embracing opportunities can help listeners to reflect on what matters most in their lives. Junip captures the preciousness of life in this song and pays tribute to those brave enough to take risks in pursuit of great things. Take it a step further and pull up the lyrics while you enjoy.

Quote of the Day:

I think it's wrong that only one company makes the game Monopoly.
